It's the end of the school year and now we set back and hope that we can give our kids a nice vacation from the long school year.
I can reflect back 7 years ago when my wife convinced me that we should buy our home in the Marvin Ridge School District ... in Marvin which is just over the Mecklenburg County line. Well .... 7 years later and I can tell you it was a great decision. Low tax rate and Schools of excellence tend to be a big draw (go figure, huh?).
My oldest son has 3 years left at Rea View Elementary before he attends Marvin Middle School. I can't imagine what it will be like but I'm confident that these schools of Excellence will prepare him for college!

Charlotte, NC Real Estate Market Stats
It's that time again for everyone to see what's shaking in the Charlotte, NC Real Estate Market. It's been a tough grind over the past 3 years but the tide is shifting and I'm seeing more and more multiple offers on properties. Rent rates are increasing which is driving more buyers into the plunge of a home purchase. We will see how this pans out over the next few months but for the time being....the market is VERY Solid!
